Some believe that micro-dosing LSD is better than taking anti depressants but the jury is definitely out on this one

Author Ayelet Waldman has written a book called ‘A Really Good Day: How Microdosing Made a Mega Difference in my Mood, My Marriage, and My Life.’ It was published 2017 and while many have loved the book, there has been a small outcry too. LSD is a controlled substance - it is thought to be extremely dangerous and of no medical value whatsoever. Think of all the people who have written about their bad trips, panic, neurosis, illness, and addiction, from LSD.

But micro dosing LSD may be different. Waldman, who struggled with depression for years, almost causing her to lose her marriage and her life, started micro dosing LSD. She wrote about her experiences and also her interaction with Dr. David Presti, a professor of neurobiology at the University of California in Berkeley. She believes micro-dosing is much better than antidepressants because there are no side effects.

Presti talks about the side effects of antidepressants - exhaustion, fatigue, nausea, dizziness, stomach complications, lack of libido, etc. And while the side effects may be a thousand times better than a debilitating depression, rather have no side effects at all. He believes that micro-dosing LSD has no serious side effects and that LSD is completely safe in small doses. There are no side effects, productive is boosted, creativity is boosted and more than anything - happiness is boosted.

You may want to download the book and buy it, read about Walmans journey with depression and LSD micro dosing. But we urge you not to try it unless like Waldman, you do it with the help of specialists and researchers and have good strong medical back up. And remember, LSD is not exactly legal. If your anti depressants are working for you, you may just want to keep taking them!
