Smuggler Pigeon caught carrying a tiny little backpack of ecstasy Pills

Trafficking of drugs has always been prohibited anywhere in the world. Smugglers are often caught as they find innovative ways to get their drugs across a border, onboard a plane, or cross the ocean through a boat. Regardless of the way, the drug industry will always find a way to smuggle their drugs to sell to all types of people who have the need to buy.
However, when an unsuspecting homing pigeon is used to smuggle drugs, it makes people wonder as to what lengths that the drug industry will go through just to distribute their product.

Pigeons are traditionally used to deliver messages, and they have carried written messages for quite a long time, dated back to the early centuries. But as it turned out, the Kuwaiti custom officials caught a pigeon carrying a very small bird-friendly backpack that contains 178 narcotic pills as it crossed over from Iraq.
It was not stated exactly what pills the pigeon was carrying, but there were reported talks about it being ecstasy pills, and other reports said that it may be ketamine.
Though it is quite fascinating that a pigeon smuggles drugs, it begs a question as to how the Kuwaiti custom officials exactly caught the pigeon bird. No matter how you think about it, capturing a bird may prove impossible to do, especially if it is flying overhead.

When the awe-inspiring turn of event is digested, with a clear mind people is asking what will happen to the pigeon now? What is its fate? Will the pigeon be set free to fly again freely or go back to its master, or will the bird be imprisoned? Is there even a jail intended for birds or any other animals for smuggling drugs?
