Elon Musk is changing the way we think about automation and money.

Elon Musk is a genius. He’s a South African born American business man and entrepreneur and also the co-founder of SpaceX.   He’s had ideas over the last few years that have been outrageous except - he’s smart, he’s a forward thinker and he knows something that we don't know.  HIs ideas always come to fruition.

Universal Basic Income is Musk’s latest economic idea.  He says, and he knows because of SpaceX, that robotic automation is the future.  It’s not happening yet on a big scale, but it will. And the economy will change completely when we’re reliant on robots.  Money won’t be as important as it is now, except - we still need money.

This is where Musk thinks about Universal Basic Income.   He feels every single person should be given the same amount of money, from their government.  Jobs will be automated and humans will have a new and different lifestyle.  

If you’re wondering if this is really going to happen, well, it is hard to say.  But the jobs that are going to be automated will include:-

Accountants

Lawyers

Doctors

Engineers

Shop Keepers

Drivers

Travel Agents

Barkeepers

Waitresses

Dog Walkers

We could go on because the list is endless. And you will find that your career is probably on the list too. But don't worry!  If Musk has his way, your government will give you an automatic Universal Basic Income that you can spend any which way you want.    Spend it on food, although you may be eating capsules, or on shelter, or on travel. 

The world is changing and we should make use of new technology and embrace the new way of doing things.  And you do not want to get left behind.
