A marijuana entrepreneur brings in over $1 million a year running a 'bud and breakfast' hotel

There are several marijuana cafes throughout Colorado but now there's a fabulous guesthouse that specialises in marijuana too. It’s called the ‘Bud And Breakfast’ rather than the ‘Bed and Breakfast,’ and we hear that the food, smells and service are rated very high.

And that is of course a pun on the word high!

The Bud and Breakfast is a six roomed Inn that was opened in 2016 . The owner, Joel Schneider, is a real entrepreneur and always comes up with fabulous ideas. He chose to open a small guesthouse where the guests could feel totally comfortable enjoying a joint, a cookie or a marijuana omelette, without any fear.

Schneider was a lawyer in his previous life. He enjoyed the odd smoke though, and would find that he was always trying to cover up the smell, especially when he stayed in a hotel. And so he came up with the idea of 'The Bud and Breakfast', and what a clever idea it was.

The reviews of The Bud and Breakfast are fabulous. People have travelled from all around the country, in fact all around the world, to come and spend time with like-minded marijuana lovers. Schneider does not provide the marijuana as he does not have a valid license to grow or sell it - he just provides the space for people to smoke it. Or eat it. Or drink it. The kitchen is open for people to make their cookies, or omelettes, the kettle is available for all, and the gardens are filled with delicious aromas!

The Bud and Breakfast is in Denver’s Capital Hill neighbourhood where there are several licensed marijuana shops and dispensaries. It’s a great idea, and it’s a great name, and we think anyone who is such an amazing entrepreneur should be supported. Book in advance though, the rooms are in demand!
