6 Photographs capturing different Ethnic Groups in Vietnam
Precious heritage is a project helmed by Rehahn, a documentarist and photographer who created Precious Heritage in which he hopes to meet and photograph all ethnic groups in Vietnam, who are registered to be 54 in number. He had travelled through the country for almost 10 years before settling in Hoi An in 2011.
His personal website reads that he is more than a man behind the camera. And each one of his clicks convey a story, whether it is a photograph of a child with sparkling blue eyes, a woman doing her needle work on an indigo fabric or a man who walks alone through a street that is painted in bright colours. All these photographs are a culmination of the experiences he has had throughout the years.
Since embarking on the journey, Rehahn has been able to capture 53 of the 54 ethnic groups along with other subgroups and his instagram followers count is currently at 97.4K.
