World Champion Boxer Manny Pacquiao Builds 1,000 Homes For Poor Filipinos

In the field of professional sports, athletes have all been proud of where they came from and always gave back to the community whatever they have earned in the sports that they love. International and local athletes have the tendency to engage in charity works, and while they risk their body in the ring, professional boxers are recognized to earn a lot of money in world-class match-ups, regardless if they win or lose.

Professional boxer Manny Pacquiao was engaged in the “fight of the century’ and even after getting defeated, he still earned a staggering over $100 million. The Filipino boxer informed people through Facebook that he is using his hard-earned money to help his constituents in the Sarangani Province, and more than 1,000 families will benefit from the housing project.

The worldwide boxer Pacquiao was inspired to give back this big to the people during his fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

This selfless act of kindness now made it possible for 1,000 families to have roofs over their heads in their province. Though Pacquiao is in the business of violence in the ring, outside the ring he is warm-hearted and he has the initiative for the people.

Pacquiao came from poverty and he understood perfectly how hard that was. In his struggle to climb the ladder of success, he has always given credit to all the people who made it possible for him, to his family and his people from his province. He never forgot where he came from and stayed humble despite all the fame and fortune.

The world boxer Pacquiao feels that it is right to show his gratitude to the people who had always been at his back supporting him in his fights.
